Let’s Pray Together for the Gospel to Spread throughout the UAE and Her Peoples
June 2021 Prayer Requests
"Prayer lays hold of God's plan and becomes the link between his will and its accomplishment on earth. Amazing things happen, and we are given the privilege of being the channels of the Holy Spirit's prayer." - Elisabeth Elliot.
Thank you for choosing to pray for the peoples of the UAE.
Families Reaching Families
Rob and Martina often have neighbor families and families from their children’s school over for holidays, birthday parties, and dinners. They’ve found by inviting families into their home to share family life, these friends will naturally pick up on the differences in their own families.
Celebrations Have Begun
Boys in crisp, white kandoras (long dress shirt which is the national dress) and girls in brand new dresses ran in and out of the large room which was used for visiting with guests. Ramadan was over and the celebration days had begun which included lots of visiting.
Loving Neighbors Through Woodworking
As wood chips flew in the air onto George’s small square front yard, two neighborhood boys peeked over his concrete wall to watch. George moved to Dubai with his family. One of his favorite hobbies is woodworking. The two boys, 7 and 10, who were peeking over the wall and their grandmother moved to Dubai 12 years ago from Pakistan.
May 2021 Prayer Requests
Ramadan ends May 12 with a couple days of celebrations when friends and family will gather. Please pray for those who have been truly seeking this Ramadan! We have several resources that you can use this month as you pray. Help us mobilize many to pray for the UAE!
Prayer Walking and Conversations in Parks
Dubai’s parks are filled with Arab family picnics, children chattering on their bicycles in different languages and an array of seasonal flowers replaced every couple weeks. While Bettie Issachar was prayer walking in one of Dubai’s many parks, she happened upon a frail lady pushing a stroller.
"To get nations back on their feet, we must first get down on our knees."
