Let’s Pray Together for the Gospel to Spread throughout the UAE and Her Peoples
No Insurance
On a busy Friday evening, Aysar ended his shift and was on the way home when the team called him, desperate for help. They asked him to make one more delivery. Aysar agreed, even though he would not be paid for it. When he finished the delivery, he was on the way back to the office and a woman walked out in front of him in the street. He was unable to swerve in time and so he dropped the bike to stop it. The metal bars on the bike fell on his leg and fractured it in three places.
Looking for a Job
Bisma cried out to God from her hotel room. She needed Him to show up because there were only days left on her UAE visa after she lost her job. There was nothing for her in Syria and her children lived in Dubai with their father who she was separated from for over a decade. She knew God could do a miracle, but she didn’t know if He would do it for her.
This is Their Time
October 1 was the first day of EXPO 2020. The grand opening was the night before with dignitaries from the UAE and stars from around the world speaking and performing. You can watch it here. It was an amazing event! The theme song, “This is Our Time”, was released a few weeks before.

Thank you for choosing to pray for the peoples of the UAE. We know God hears and is moving in the hearts of those who live in the UAE. The city is ramping up for the opening of Expo 2020 (world fair) on Friday, October 1. It was postponed when the pandemic spread throughout the world last year. Many are working hard to make sure everything is ready for the Grand Opening. You can watch it live online at virtualexpo.world this Thursday, September 30 at 7:30pm UAE time.

Tears in a Bottle
The skyscrapers in Dubai glisten like diamonds reflecting in the sun. The city is a glass window into a world of luxury where anything desired can be instantly at your fingertips. But a window only reveals a small picture of the yard. Perhaps a Mercedes in the yard might be in sight but not the crumpling shed on the opposite end of the yard.
Before moving to the city, Esther loved to support her friends when they were going through traumatic situations. She would call out their identity when they felt insignificant, but she found this difficult when many of the women she met in Dubai preferred to hide behind perfection and avoid depth in conversation.
